Mr. Kwami Cyrille Ahovi-Zevo has lived in Charlotte since 1997. Currently, Kwami is an Analytical Consultant with extensive working experience in the financial service sector.  Kwami holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and handful of professional licenses in accounting and insurance fields. Kwami also graduated from the School of Economic Sciences and Management (FASEG-Faculté des Sciences Economic et de Gestion) at the University of Lomé (Togo). In 1994, he left Togo to France to further his education but that dream was abandoned in favor of migrating to the USA. Back home, Kwami has been involved in community-based organizations such as choir groups, football clubs, social clubs and associations. At twenty years of age, he was the founding member of JESAK, an association of Students and young professionals’ native of his village Kovié (Togo). Later, he was elected an Assistant-Secretary of EED (Education Emploi et Développement) an NGO formed in early 1990 that aimed to support education and economic developments for his village and surrounding areas. As a student and Assistant-Secretary of EED, Kwami was one of the messengers sent by the elders to carry out messages to Chiefs and Notables when the village Leaders were laying out the ground works for the village to become the seat of Kovié County.
In Charlotte, Kwami continues his passion to be involved in community building organization. As such, he was the founding member, Treasurer then Secretary of the defunct ATCN (Association des Togolais en Caroline du Nord). Currently, Kwami is serving as President of Ewe Association of Charlotte, NC. Previously, he was the Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of this association.
